	Had a great day surfing at Big Rights with all the boys. Ronnie, Ced, Brian, Bobby, Chris, Jason, Kirby, Kalei, Aliks, Trav, James. Packed all my gadgets and now I'm ready for the tour. Going to surf Ibaragi a week early and practice. See ya in a month, Hawaii.
Le Casa Diamonte 4/27/2008
	They finished the Tahiti Trials yesterday in HUGE barrels. Jamie O won. He'll be a threat in the main event. This must be the biggest wave ever bodysurfed. I'd be freaking if I was this guy. Brady-O! He's the man. I went surfing him Sunday and bradda is outta shape. He came in almost passed out. Normally, that would bum people out and they'd quit but Brady got pissed. By the time I come back from Japan, I bet Brady will be 20 lbs. lighter and in shape. He's a gnarly computer guy who 5 years ago didn't even know how to email. I was lucky to not get stung today and hopefully I won't get stung tomorrow. I talked to the lifeguard and he said they found 600 jellyfish this morning. Justin Abilla from Olivia gave our family a huge Uhu. He said it's an 8 lb one but I swear it's bigger. Thanks Justin! Can't wait to come back and bbq that guy. Le Casa Diamonte. And this past Sunday was Mika's first birthday. It was great fun! Congrats to mommy Minnie and poppy Aliks. Tomorrow... my last day at home and a town swell. Gonna wake up early and make the most of it.
Baseball 4/25/2008
	Colt Brennan got drafted! Washington Redskins in the 6th Round. Now it's time to prove himself. I watched tons of baseball yesterday. Watched my little brother's and Kasey and Codey do aweseome at their games. Then, went home to watch more baseball that night.. I love the rivalries in baseball! On pitcher hits a batter and the other team ritaliates. Haha... Tadahito Iguchi blasted a 13th inning homer to win the game for the Padres on Sat! Crazy ending to a great game. I heard he's the first Japanese guy to have a game winning homer. An umpire got hit in the jaw by a 96 mph pitch. He's ok now but it was realy scary for a little bit. David Beckham came to Hawaii and after one of the games, he gave his jersey away, and now... those two people are figuring who gets the jersey IN COURT!
MacBook Pro 4/22/2008
	Check out this wave!!! This is the wave that took Damien Hobgood out for at least 4 weeks. Going over the falls at 10 ft. Teahupo'o... Not the best feeling in the world. Thanks to FCS and Gorilla Grip for the new pads. Stoked! Perfect timing since I just got a fresh batch of boards. And here are the new boards. Spray painted and ready to go for Japan and Bali. I've tried them all and they're ALL good! Thanks Fade Surfboards and Wes Oshiro! Today, I got my Macbook Pro. I've been talking about getting one for over a year! I waited and picked the right time to get one. This computer will help me in so many ways. Thanks to Brady O! Last night, we went to Morton's. Mmmm... Amazing steak! Had a nice little dinner with my Mum and Cori. 2 of the 5 lovely ladies in my life. And how's this photo! So funny! I went into Kaimuki photo and the man behind the counter was talking story with his friends and didn't even help me out or look as if he was going to. I waited for 10 minutes in front of him and they just kept talking it up, so I got left and came back and he was trying to kiss my butt but I was already mad. Then, when I saw the picture I laughed so hard because it shows how much of a grump I was. Haha!!!
BLOW'S NEW Online Background 4/20/2008
	BLOW had a little makeover and did their website up a little. They're constantly improving! Pretty stoked on this photo. Thanks Kaz! Check it out! Also, there were 4 family birthday's this weekend. A. Wanda, Shannon, A. Karen, & Coach. Hope everyone had a Happy Birthday! Here's a pic of our birthday dinner for Aunty Wanda with Kasey and Codey. We went to Kobe steak house. It was the first time I'd been there and hopefully not the last. Damien Hobgood got super beat up at Teahupo'o this past week. He landed on the reef on his back after going over the falls. Luckily, he just escaped with a broken shoulder. It could've been a lot worse. Went to Dave and Buster's with the boys. Had a couple beers and played a couple games. Changy,me, Kalei, Trav, Aaron. Me and my girl. Cori kicked everyone's ass in the horse game. I have no idea how she does it. She looks like she can't play that game at all and leaves you in the dust. Kekoa Uemura kicked some ass this weekend and won the first Longboard JPSA. Good on 'em. Heard the conditions were a little bumpy. He freaked me out about my photo at the graves. Surfed 7 hours! 4/18/2008
	Holy cow... Haven't remembered when I surfed for 7 hours!!! So tired... Not going to tell you where I surfed today, just gonna say a HUGE thanks to Ronnie Yamada and Joel Centeio. You guys know why. How's Joel's mug shot. He always makes funny faces. I know he hates this photo but I had to put it up. Haha.. Murasaki Ad for 2008. Thanks Shimada san and Aoki san. Stoked! Overhyped 4/17/2008
	Here's some photos from a UH Game, Cori and I went to this Sat. It was lots of fun. The only thing that was missing was sunflower seeds. I think we're good luck charms because they've won the two games we went to. Codey Mita tryin' to act tough. Dad and A. Wanda. Here's my worst nightmare... An ugly ass lizard! My friends know I hate these things. This thing was on the stairs and I couldn't scare it away. It was so UGLY! So this swell, got hyped up for WEEKS! And it came a little bit early yesterday. 2-3 ft. waves. BUT! The surf report said it was 3-5 ft!!! A bit overhyped = crowds. I texted Ronnie Yamada this morning. I don't usually have a good time at Big Rights if he isn't out. He's definitely crowd control guy. And if you try to kiss his ass to get waves... it don't work. "No need the butter." haha... Pen Computer? 4/16/2008
	Waves were really good yesterday. Surfed 3 times!!! Here's Diamond Head yesterday, 3 ft. peaks everywhere and super rippable. There was hardly any parking and this one police officer went to town by giving so many people parking tickets. And how's this! A computer from pens... Crazy technology. I don't know if it'll happen in the future but this is crazy!
Manny's homer 4/15/2008
	This weekend I had Bi San. It's a tradition on my Mom's side to visit our great grandaprent's grave. It's nice to see all the relatives that you don't get to see too often. Here's my Gung Gung and Popo (Chinese for Grandma and Grandpa). How's this view! A good place to be laid to rest. But I think I'd rather be at Diamond Head. Such a surfer huh... Shane-O's winning wave at the XXL Big Wave Awards. Shane-O's $50,000 check at the XXL Big Wave Awards. Team Vertra! Che! Went to 2 Hawaii College Baseball games too. It was super fun! They won both of 'em! Daisuke pitched good against the Yankee's this weekend! The Red Sox won the series 2-1. HA HA HA!!! Good on the boys for taking em down! How you like them apples! haha... And yesterday, Manny Ramirez hit a 2-run shot in the bottom of the 8th to beat the Cleveland Indians by 1?!?! It was a really good game! It's still early in the year, but things look good.
How Do You Like Them Apples 4/10/2008
	This past weekend was the Andy and Bruse Irons Keiki contest. I think it's really important for role models like those guys to do that for the kids. Hopefully, it'll lead them in the right direction and not down a bad path. How's this grom at the contest. Supermans in the boys division!!! Are you kidding me? Man... Got some JAL name tags and a passport holder. So stoked! Now I can look like I belong in busniess class. It took me a Loooooooong time to get there and I'm definitely going to enjoy every minute in the lounge. I also got something I really wanted for a year. It's so classic. I bet Jun Jo and Travis Hashimoto won't talk to me when I wear this. Haha!!!
Sharky WA 4/9/2008
	Yesterday, there was a giant shark that stopped the contest at Margaret River, Western Australia. The waves were apparently going off and they were forced to stop it because a huge shark was seen in the contest area. But Kekoa "Bam" Bacalso killed his heat before the sharks arrived. Go Bam Go! Been emailing Keisuke Imada a bunch. I've known him for 10 years now and he's the coolest guy. So mellow and quiet and one of the most stylish surfers in Japan. Check out his blog. Checked out U-Suke's photos on his blog. U-Suke is a young photographer from Japan who is making it big time. He's been in many magazines and is getting better and better every year. When I shoot with U-Suke it doesn't feel like work cause he's our good friend. Check out this shot of Tetta Mori. I remember him telling me about this wipeout. Gnarly! Also, I've been working with Taku on the new G-Shock Rider dvd coming out with Surf 1st soon. It's gonna be sick! The new GLIDE G-Shock will blow everyone away. Kasey's Game 4/7/2008
	Sunny Garcia is doing good when in Margaret River. Looks like he's wearing trunks too! Whoa! That's crazy! I hope he makes the tour. Here's a couple new boards I got. Didn't spray paint them. It's been awhile since I had white, clear boards. But I think it's good because I need some in my quiver. My good friend Garrett Lee is in Japan with his girl and sent me these cool pics of the Cherry Blossoms! How nice is it! Super cool! Thanks for the pics, G. Went to watch Kasey's game today. Codey Mita was there, trying to make a mean face. haha... Here's the team. They did really good today! Their team is super solid! Everyone can hit and field really well! Kasey pitched well today. He's getting good. And his hitting is solid. He's definitely the best kid at his age. I have no doubt he'll take his baseball skills further than anyone in the family! Go Kasey! And here's Micah Wong. He's on Kasey's team and can hit, throw and field the ball better than kids twice his size. He's a really good all-around player. Thanks for checking the blog, Micah. Miss Aloha Hula 4/5/2008
	A couple days ago, a bus carrying the Kahuku High School water polo team flipped. Several people got hurt and had to go to the hospital, but no serious injuries. Pretty scary to think that life can be so different after one wrong turn. Kalimakuhilani Suganuma of Keolalaulani Halau 'Olapa O Laka, a Kaneohe halau is the Miss Aloha Hula. In Hawaii, the Merrie Monarch Festival is a VERY competitive hula competition. To win that title is HUGE. She must be stoked! Kaimana Jaquias won the explorer Boys division. He's Kaipo Jaquias' son and he's got big shoes to fill, but he's doing it well. I remember when he was a little guy. Now, he's one of the best juniors in the world. Congrats to him! XFTlive.com Hawaii is finally getting onto the seperate recycling bins. In Australia and Japan, they've been on this program for a long time already. It's pretty much a no brainer. Recycle. And lastly check this out! Sean Moody on a CRAZY, CRAZY Backdoor wave. And he didn't even grab his rail! I think it could be the best backhand Backdoor barrel I've ever seen. And it's one of the boys! Che! Yeah Mood!
Airlines Gone Bankrupt 4/3/2008
	Last week, Aloha Airlines declared bankruptcy and left thousands jobless. It was horrible to see so many people be laid off without warning. Then, ATA decided to declare bankruptcy TOO this morning! Many stranded passengers were left without an answer. I'm sure this will all have a huge effect on Hawaii's tourism and I hope it will all be back to normal soon. Sunny Garcia surfed in teh Newcastle WQS comp today but lost in teh dying seconds. He was looking good in the small conditions. Hope he makes the tour. And lastly, this DONKEY finally admitted to the murder of Masumi Watanabe, a Japanese who was staying in Pupukea. He tried to cover up a hit and run because he didn't want to lose his job and she ended up dying. So, to cover things up he tried to bury her and let her rest in the ocean. I really hope her family can come to rest knowing that her body is laid to rest in the ocean. What a horrible story.
New DNA shades! 4/2/2008
	Boston has 3 wins and 1 loss right now! Che Hu! Yankee's lost today too! Che hu! Made some meatloaf the other night with Cori. It was pretty mean! Didn't realize we could cook something that good. Wonder what's next? Saw this little guy at Diamond Head. Mongoose can kill snakes! But they're scared of their own shadows and full on scavangers. Pretty cool little things if you've never seen one before but don't try and pet them. Got 2 new boards!!! Can't wait to try 'em! Got some new DNA sunglasses! So stoked!
